Kindly note that we propose inserting the following instructions with regard to accumulators to be shown in large type, leaving the existing detail matter in the smaller type:-

- ACCUMULATORS -

Careful observation of the following simple rules will almost invariably secure satisfactory results.

Discharging Rules.
Do not discharge the battery two low.
Do not discharge any cell below 1.7 volts. (measured while a discharge current is passing).
Do not allow the battery to stand completely discharged.

Charging Rules.
The battery must always be charged in the right direction.
The positive terminal (+) of the battery must be coupled on charge to the positive charging main.
Do not allow the battery temperature to exceed 100° F.{Mr Friese} on charge,
Do not excessively overcharge.
