To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} A 7250. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}1/MJ.6.1.30. X7250 X4521. We wish to fit a lighter radiator to a Phantom 11 car for test purposes. Will you please take the radiator at present being used by W. Bell for flow tests (the matrix of which is now obsolete) and remove 40% of the tubes in the manner indicated in the attached sketch (Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}253). We should like you to fit thin tinned plates on each face of the radiator to take the place of these tubes, with a tap at the base (see sketch) so that the blanked portion of the matrix can be emptied of water if desired. We should like this radiator as soon as possible. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} | ||
