Referring to the attached, we had a long talk with Hancock on the subject, and though he utterly failed to convince us of the logic of the light valve, he was confident that he had satisfied half a dozen customers, therefore we have to drop our objection to valves being prepared for customers' complaints.

We received a note from him this week in which he as followed up one of the cases he dealt with and confirmed that the job has stayed put.
