CHASSIS - 59-PK - and 48-PK. X9940 X9680

Referring to your PN{Mr Northey}2/DN24.9.24.

59-PK car was allotted to the Experimental Dept. as a completely finished car. The only work we have carried out on it is the fitting of 4-wheel brakes. Nothing we have done should have affected the power or the noise.

In your memo. you mention an open car which we are going to supply. 48-PK car, the other car which we are preparing, is a Park Ward Cabriolet. We consider it is a good example of a 40/50 HP. CWB. ran it for a considerable distance - perhaps he could tell you whether he considers the car suitable for a Trials Car.

Although the body on 48-PK car has finished paint-work, the chassis is still only works-grey, and therefore it would need painting, and the whole car would be improved with a coat of varnish.
