CHASSIS 59-PK and 48-PK

In reply to your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/LG25.9.24, 59-PK will have reached Derby today. I am inquiring as to the origin of this car and why it was handed to you as a complete car in such an unsatisfactory state in respect of performance and body "booming".

I hope that whilst at Derby it will be found possible to improve the performance of this car and its tendency to "boom" sufficiently and in time for our Press demonstration on the 10th October.

With regard to 48-PK, there would appear to be no doubt as to this being a good car for demonstration purposes, from reports I have received, but I am anxious to inspect it myself as soon as possible.

When do you anticipate that it will be available in London ? Meanwhile, are you arranging locally to have the chassis painted and a coat of varnish put on the car ?
