85992. To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} c. to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}5/MJ.1.4.32. 25 HP. CAR. It will be necessary for us to prepare a car to be at W.W. when R.{Sir Henry Royce} returns. Our intention is to send down there 16-G4. car which is the 25 HP. car R.{Sir Henry Royce} had last year. The car has been brought up to date with Diamond engine mounting and synchro mesh gearbox, balanced crank, etc. The engine is J.1 type, we propose leaving this in the car but fitting to it two R.R. single carburetters instead of the S.U. so that it will be more interesting. We think when R.{Sir Henry Royce} gets this car he will be prepared to release the present car 20-G4., which would then make a very useful Trials Car. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
