We are expecting to send a Phantom car for a 10,000 miles test in France somewhere about the middle of next month. The date at the moment appears to be about the 20th.

We expect this car to be used to bring your luggage from Le CanadelHenry Royce's French residence to Boulogne, we can then make the necessary arrangements to get it from Boulogne to W.W.

We have held the car up until we could get some useful pieces on to it, and the Phantom ll car we send out will have :-

(1) Synchro-mesh Gearbox.
(2) R.R. Expanding carburetter.
(3) Crankshaft with balance weights and larger journals.
(4) Higher compression ratio.
(5) New Camshaft.
(6) Cast iron drums.
(7) Flexible shackle.

- also a large number of smaller items.

I thought perhaps you would like to have this information so that you will be able to make the necessary arrangements as regards the luggage.
