Dear Mr. Robotham, Referring further to our letter on the subject of a sample set of stabilising equipment for fitment to the Bentley car, this will advise you that when contacting with the patentees, they have requested us to let them have details of the rear springing, weight of the car and available space in the chassis, to determine whether the stabilising equipment as fitted to the Ford V.8 would be suitable. They are also very interested to hear as to the type of car for which we are considering the application, but we have refrained from giving this information because we felt that you would not like this to be disclosed at this stage. Would you therefore please advise us whether you are agreeable to submitting the information requested in their letter, which we will duly pass on to them, and if not we will take the risk of ordering a set of V8 stabilisers, so that you can have these fitted under your own supervision. Would you also please advise us whether you are in agreement with our refraining at this stage from making any mention of the type of car which is under consideration. Yours faithfully, p.p.
