x 120 / Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/KW. 15th October, 1936. V.W. Pilkington, Esq., Messrs. Leyland Motors Ltd., Leyland, Lancs. Dear Mr. Pilkington, We suggest that a set of V.8 Stabilisers would be quite adequate for the job we have in mind, as we are proposing to fit this equipment to the rear of a Bentley which has much the same weight and spring deflection as the V.8. We should be glad to take advantage of your assistance in fitting these parts when they are available. Thanking you for your co-operation in the matter. Yours sincerely, FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LIMITED. | ||
