Bentley V Air Silencer.

We have now found it necessary to slightly modify the air silencer on Bentley V and 50 cars to obtain the degree of silencer we expect on our products. The mod. consists of reducing the dia. of the inner pipe EB.4224 from 2.062" to 1.750". This means a slight loss in B HP but is the only alternative to a larger silencer whilst we continue to use the centre intake pipe to the carburetters.
