I am not satisfied with the figures we have so far obtained of the loss due to the silencer as fitted to 103-MC. The tests are being repeated and we will let you have the results. We are surprised, however, to hear that loss of power can be appreciated when hill climbing. We recommend that in order to confirm that this is due to the silencer, a test should be made with the cutout open and closed.
