Pull Off Springs for rear foot brake shoes. Phantom III There is a complaint that the above pull-off springs are too weak and that they do not return the shoes to their normal position after adjusting. The front pull-off springs have recently been increased in strength for the same reason, and now appear to be satisfactory in every respect. We suggest, therefore, that as the spring centres are the same on the front and rear shoes the strengthened front springs should be substituted for those at present fitted to the rear.
