Dear Mr. Hives,

I hope you will forgive me for troubling you but I acquired a 20/25 Rolls last week, G.H.A.12, from your London Depot. I expected to get about 17 m.p.g. and although I have tried all positions of the controls I cannot get more than 13 m.p.g.

I have been running most of the time around 55 m.p.h. not exceeding 62. I wondered whether you would kindly give me the necessary instructions to get about 16 m.p.g.

Thanking you very much.

Yours faithfully,

E.L. Wilmart.
WORKS MANAGER.
