Works Manager,
Lodge Plugs Limited,
R U G B Y.

Dear Mr. Wilmart,

Mr. Hives has handed me your letter of January 19th.

Your petrol consumption is certainly not as good as we should have expected, and if you could arrange for us to have the car at the Works for one day, we should like to take the opportunity of going over it, and seeing what we can do to improve matters. This would be much more satisfactory than sending you a carburetter, as features in the power unit may have some bearing on the matter.

Yours sincerely,
