( 2 ) the detailing or incorrect manufacture. The spheres are already packed down and there is little we can do about it. We shall be able to tell you more about engine oil leaks when we have stopped the principal ones. The cover of the general filter was leaking badly, but we stopped this by tightening it down more. Thank you for the new jets. We will let you know what results we get. The front damper valve trouble is rather serious, and should be watched on the cars at Derby. It can be detected very quickly by pushing on either end of the front bumper in turn. If however, the dampers have the big leaks originally used, it is much more difficult to tell when one is down as the car bounces so freely anyway. We have returned the worn push-rod and the rear brake shoes to you. Please send a set of eight brake shoes lined with V.G.90 ready for 14.B.V. ----------------- Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/IMW.{Ivan M. Waller - Head of Chateauroux} I.m.waller. | ||
