LUCAS L.R.7.T. VOLTAGE REGULATOR.

We are trying out these regulators, with a view to using them in place of the C.A.V. regulator which has caused us so much concern, due to its unreliability. When this regulator is used it is necessary to alter the field winding on the dynamo so that the negative end is earthed and the positive end brought out to the terminal. We have done this alteration on one or two experimental dynamos but as it seems likely that this regulator will ultimately be standardised, we should like a scheme issued for the dynamo showing the connections made properly inside the machine.

On the experimental dynamos we have brought the wire out to the brush gear and it is not the way we should like it done for Production.
