CONTINUATION JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED PAGE 2 DATE 1st.April. thermostatically controlled regulator would give when hot. When, however, the reset regulator was allowed to warm up, naturally there was a further fall in output. We have explained to Mr.West the function of the thermostatic hinge spring on the LR{Mr Ellor}7T regulators and are arranging to send him two more regulators with the load series winding having an extra turn, thus giving the series compensation as 3 main and 3 load turns." We would mention that we sent you under separate cover yesterday a further two LR{Mr Ellor}7T Regulators marked for your special attention; these regulators are fitted with 63ohm point resistance, and 38 ohm Field Parallel resistance. The load series has been increased from two to three turn as arranged with your representative on one of his recent visits here. Each of these regulators has been set to 16.8 volts on open circuit at 1500 Dynamo R.P.M. Yours faithfully, JOSEPH LUCAS LIMITED. R.S.Y. Tomlinson Technical Sales Department. | ||
