Attention of Mr. Arrowsmith.

Dear Sir,

With reference to our letter of the 6th November, reference Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/RC.{R. Childs}7/ET., and your reply of the 11th November, our Project Office are now enquiring as to what expense would be incurred in reversing the direction of the drive, without changing the direction of movement of the speedometer needle.

It seems to us that this would mean quite a big change, and an expensive one. We should like to have your advice on this matter.

Yours faithfully,
