Axles for Rationalised Chassis.

We wish to replace a number of our existing 1,500 hypoid axles by up to date 0.650 hypoid axles.

We have therefore arranged for Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH. to produce an up to date master L.O.P. for 0.650 semi floating axles and to issue instructions for the 3 replacement axles and for Ripplet and L.H. Phantom axles as variants of this master L.O.P.

We send you herewith memos. Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH.10/JH.18.3.40. and Ev{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/HH.11/JH.18.3.40. issuing the master L.O.P. and the L.O.P. for the first of the replacement axles for chassis 1.R.1. The remaining L.O.P.'s will follow very shortly.
