Coverley - Production Engineer} E/HDY.{William Hardy}3/HP.24.8.36. Phantom III. Gearbox. We send herewith a print of N.Sch.4887 showing how a spherical thrust face may be applied to an existing 2nd speed coupling. The spherically faced washer has clearance around the shaft and thus avoids the need for accurate concentricity of the sphere with the six teeth which would otherwise have been required. The original drawing is attached to By's copy. E/HDY.{William Hardy} Hdy{William Hardy} N.Sch.4887 herewith. | ||
