- 3 - OUR COMMENTS. pedal adjustment without further adjustment on the axle. The material of the brake drums was the latest type i.e. .3 T.O. .26 Carbon Steel. The adjustment for these brakes was set out and checked so that when the pedal adjustment and rear axle external adjustment has been all taken up, new liners are required. Allowance, however, was not made for wear of the brake drums. We take it that the above wear in this case was the liners themselves. Can Hy.{Tom Haldenby - Plant Engineer} report on this, also on the condition of the rivets, and does he consider that the brake were affected by contact of the rivets to the brake drum? Another body fitting has broken, this one being the one fixed on the head and the one which attaches the hood to the wind screen. We have brought this point to the attention of the coach-building representatives. The compressions of the engine are very good indeed and much better than at the start. They are improving with running. The distributor is in good condition, and we have today smeared the cam with a little grease as recommended. We have not yet touched a Sparking Plug. The K.L.G.'s working very well indeed. Not a misfire so far. Clutch works very well. No squeaks now but hangs on slightly when hot. I am going to Bologne early tomorrow morning to meet 6-G-II to take it to La{L. A. Archer} Canadel. Waldron will carry on with 5-G-II at this address and will report to you during my absence. EP.{G.
