Dear Sirs,
For the attention of Mr.R.Matthews.
We would acknowledge receipt of your communication of the 6th, and are putting in hand at once 144 Piston Rings to Drawing No.E.W.1425, as requested.
We will make a particular note not to exceed the .001" taper unless this is absolutely unavoidable.
We note with interest your remarks with regard to the relationship between this ring and the one used on the 3½ litre Bentley, and hope that an opportunity will arise when you are at the Show for a further discussion on this matter.
Yours faithfully,
FOR THE LIGHT PRODUCTION CO.LTD.
W. B. Brooks
GENERAL MANAGER.
