To Hd.{Mr Hayward/Mr Huddy} from Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} 328 Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls}5/MH.{M. Huckerby}6.1.38. 37-EX. Since our decision that no car shall leave the works with steel 3rd. speed bushes it will be necessary to change the bushes in Gearbox No. 12 H.S. in 37-EX before the car ceases to be Company's property. If the car is going to be used by the Company for several months we would rather that the steel bushes did some more running and were changed just before we parted with the car.
