(20) Steadman will carry out tests on the Mark VI radiator ~~and the improved anti-spill on tank on 33-KX.~~ [Handwritten] Simplified Ex Scheme going through

(21) Martindale has issued a report on brake ~~fading which covers this job. New linings are being tried on the SpectreCodename for Phantom III.~~ [Handwritten] Green Car. Line three-linings.

(22) Oddy and Smith are going to co-operate on tests on 28-KX with silent tappets. The car must be used for transport as much as possible and then left standing throughout the night, the starting being investigated in the morning. ✓

(23) Hyman will immediately issue a specification for the big bore exhaust system. Confirmatory tests will subsequently be carried out on it both on the road and on the test bed. It is agreed that there is a possibility of it having to be modified later, but we must give the Works something to be going on with. ✓

(24) Dodd and Salt will carry out tests comparing the large carburetters with the small carburetters on the big bore car. [Underlined] This is very important. So far we have never tried a car with big carburetters which had anything like the snap opening up of the small carburetters. ✓

(25) B-19 unit is waiting for -
(a) Hall's metal bearings with good adhesion.
(b) Pistons with the slot in the bottom ring groove.
(c) Latest larger type slipper wheel.

(26) The Lasalle steering is now fitted to SpectreCodename for Phantom III I. Hardy will carry out [Underlined] joggling tests to get a figure of merit. In our opinion it is undoubtedly much better. We want figures. X

(27) Swindall will follow up the Stromberg carburetter on SpectreCodename for Phantom III I. At present it is altogether too weak over the middle range. The slow running and slow speed efficiency seem promising. X

(28) Hyman will carry out tests with the cable location for the engine mounting on SpectreCodename for Phantom III I, with a view to seeing if he can improve the clutch operation. ✓
