(29) Leslie will persevere with obtaining the full axle control on the Hudson Terraplane or any other suitable lines, with a view to overcoming the tendency of the steering to [strikethrough] the low rating front springs. [Handwritten] Les to provide sketch ✓

(30) Matthews is running the steel skirted pistons in B-2 unit, and should report at the next meeting. ✓

(31) Leslie has undertaken to produce a torque reaction damper for the Bentley which is not susceptible to engine expansion. [Handwritten] Sketch ✓

(32) 3-b-IV should go in the shop as soon as possible [Handwritten over typed text] Locker and tool box by next meeting suggested

(33) CYS. will get the power loss on the new large bore system on b-16 unit. X

(34) Hyman will carry on with the 20/25 big bore exhaust system. [Handwritten] allott 'B' Gly on completion of drawings

(35) Swindall will issue a specification for SpectreCodename for Phantom III 3 unit with new heads, with the scheme for holding the tappet off the base circle. The correct camshaft to be fitted to the unit and the tappets should not be chromium plated. [Handwritten] O.K. being done. X

(36) Hyman will arrange for a set of links for 6-B-IV before it goes into the shop for preparation for 15,000 miles. [Handwritten] OK.

(37) Smith and Hyman will follow up the reason for the moderate degree of chunking only on SpectreCodename for Phantom III 1, as this car was previously very bad. X

(38) Suit will follow up the slow running on 18-G-IV. This appears to be definitely worse than it was before the larger inlet valve head was fitted. He should report on progress at the next meeting. X

(39) Smith will let me have the clutch leverage from plate to pedal on the 10" and 11" Borg & Beck clutches, the clutch on Lappin's car, and the original Bentley clutch. He will also follow up the semi-centrifugal clutch fitted to the Packard with the Borg & Beck people and find out exactly what benefit is obtained from it. X
