Another B.V. frame was received from Messrs Thompsons, 18.1.39 this is to be made up as a Bumper chassis. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} promised to have a specification issued. Phantom Car No.35.EX. Remote control for Vacuum Cylinder, HJ. promised to complete the details by 20.1.39. PS. to complete and hand to test as quickly as possible. Ph.III Tappets ECD.635-776-777. HPS.{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr} stated that this was a very important experiment and instructed that a week end effort was to be made to enable AG. to give a definite date for completion. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Gry.{Shadwell Grylls} stated that a marked up Blueprint of a revised 2nd Motion shaft will be issued on 19.1.39 it was pointed out that this was a very important experiment, suitable for fitment on an existing Gear Box, and was to be urged. GearBoxes for Test Bed Use. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Swdl.{Len H. Swindell} requested that he required the two mocked-up gearboxes for test bed use.
