X6076 RHO. c - EFC. BY/RD1/W.8-1-31. X.6076 Re :- 40-50 H.P. Chassis : Dynamo. Armature with 17 S.W.G. wire. Will you please put in hand one Armature to our Drawing D.73246, the new parts required being :- D.73242 - Winding Support. 1 off. D.73243 - ditto. 1 off. D.73244 - Armature End Plate. 2 off. D.73245 - Armature Coil. 28 off. This Armature in many respects is a present standard "M2" Series Armature, and with the exception of the above parts, all the parts listed on our L.O.P. D.71653 can be used, the change being milling larger slots in the core and winding the Armature with one gauge larger wire. We have already checked, in conjunction with Mr. Brock, that we can get this larger gauge wire in the space at present available, but should the Armature become Production it is agreed that more room will be required. Will you please put one Armature in hand. We assume that EFC. has a Dynamo which can be dismantled and its Magnet Case and End Brackets used to build up the required machine. Will you kindly treat this as urgent. BY/RD. | ||
