Wor {Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} /Mcr2/L12415. Handwritten: R 19/6. April 12th. 1915. Messrs The Whittle Belt Co., Warrington. Dear Sirs, We notice that on the ¾" Whittle Belt which you have recently supplied to us that there is a thin raw hide link on either side of the metal links on the belt. We shall be glad to know what the object of this is and what advantage is claimed for it. Also, are the smaller size belts so fitted, and if not, would it be advantageous to do so ? We should be glad to have an early reply as we are making some tests in connection with special Admiralty work. Yours faithfully, [Upside down text at bottom] R.R. 202A (500) (H & S) S.A. 4829 (4-15) G. {Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} C/270. | ||
