Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 9th inst addressed to our Mr. Armitage which has been handed to the writer for attention, and in this connection would confirm our telephone conversation of this morning wherein we pointed out there are several points concerning the proposed manufacture of the 13½" Driven Plates for the Phantom III Model, which we feel could best be settled by a visit to our Works by either yourself or Mr. Chandler, it was understood that you would advise us by 'phone as to whether Mr. Chandler would be visiting our Works either to-day or to-morrow. Referring to the third paragraph of your letter would point out that we do not have on order 100, 10" Driven Plates from Borg & Beck, America, for application to the Bentley Model, but in fact have ordered six only, also, as requested one dozen each Thermoid and Oldsmobile Type Facings. We are advised by Borg & Beck this morning that the material referred to was shipped from their Works on the 3rd inst, and we will arrange to place same in your hands as soon as available. As requested during our telephone conversation to-day we are arranging to order twenty five 10" Driven Plates for application to the Bentley, and your confirming order in due course will be appreciated.
