JUN 30 1921 Wd {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 6/NJ30.6.21. Ramsdens (Halifax) Ltd., Ulster Chambers, 168, Regent Street, W.1. Spring Gaiters. We are in receipt of a letter from these people, dated 28th inst. as follows:- "Our Ref: L/S1/2. In January last we had the "pleasure of supplying you with a test set of Jeavons "Lubricating Spring Gaiters to your order C.W.819. "These were fitted to your School Instruction Car "at Alvaston. We should esteem it a favour therefore "if you would be so good as to let us know if these "have given satisfaction and if we might have the "opportunity of quoting you our price for quantities. "Our Gaiters are already fitted as Standard "Factory Equipment to some very well known British Cars "and the enquiries we are now receiving tend to show "that the number will be increased in the near future. "Over 100,000 sets have already been supplied to clients "in various parts of the World, and this, we believe, is "a record so far as Spring Gaiters are concerned; in "fact we have experienced so great a demand that we were "recently compelled to remove to much larger Works to "enable us to cope successfully with our orders."
