Dear Sirs,

Re: Jackall Jacks.
-------------

With reference to the set of lightweight Jackall Jacks you recently fitted to one of our Phantom Cars.

We have now tested these and find that they are not strong enough for the weight they are required to lift.

We firstly jacked the whole car up on an even concrete floor to the max, lift, and found that the O/S front tyre failed to clear the ground. It would seem that this is due to uneven distribution in some form or another. We also notice that the rear Jacks tend to bend at full load.

The Jacks were then tested on an approx. 1 in 7 gradient.

The front wheels only were jacked up (max. lift). In this case the N/S front failed to clear the ground. This was due to a slight camber on the road bringing the O/S Jack in contact before the N/S.

We then tried the rear Jacks, and at practically max. lift the O/S swung round on the axle. This was due to inefficient locking of the Jack bracket to the axle tube.
