I am in receipt of Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}9/KW.31.1.35. I have also received a letter from Mr.Fedden this morning enclosing copy of a letter of his to you of the 4th. On the question of brake squeaks I have sent him an extract from your report and told him that I am surprised to note what he says about the man he met because brake squeaks are not a source of complaint on the Bentley. I have asked him to let me know the customer's name. You will see he is again complaining of bad wheel wobble, which was one of his original complaints and said to be due to cycle type wings and definitely curable. I think the sooner we get hold of Fedden's car again and deal with the various items, the better and I should be glad to know how soon you would be ready to have it. I agree that in regard to front movement we had better fit the bumper bar etc. as on Mr.Fairey's car. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
