COPY OF LETTER. FROM CLEAR HOOTERS LTD. HOOTERLAND, HIGHGATE SQUARE, BIRMINGHAM. 27th April 1927. Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ld. Derby. Dear Sirs, As requested by your London Show Rooms under Order No. 87328 we have despatched to you tonight the White Metal Clear Hooter Model "A" as supplied by us for Daimler Cars. This Horn is labelled for Car 37-RE-Captain H.W.Styles. We would like you before sending this horn away to sound it and note the improvements we have made since you had your last Clear Hooter. All Clear Hooters are now fitted with indestructible diaphragms. The diaphragm is capable of giving over 500,000 blasts without any appreciable deterioration, and the note you will agree is very much more penetrating. The retail price of this horn is 50/-, less a discount to yourselves of 25% and 10%. Our standard equipment price to you, in either highly finished ebony black or white metal will be 20/- each, and we shall be pleased to send you one along for testing purposes on request.
