Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to BJ. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} X8770 R1/M21.10.27. INDIA 3. X.8940b X.8770 X.5940c. X.5770 We ought to try to get both a [strikethrough]40/50[/strikethrough] 40/120 and a 20/60 HP. running in France at the same time. (1) The 20 HP. needs a new frame, longer, lower with cross member. (2) Engine with new larger crankshaft and lighter slipper (G.l. type). (3) New cyl. head. (4) Carbs. for greater power etc. You will notice that I am suggesting that we re-christen our cars sometime in the near future - the term 40/50 is obsolete. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
