J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} HOWLETT Esq.,
Wellworthy Piston Rings,
LYMINGTON, Hants.

Dear Howlett,

Thank you for your letter of May 17th.

In case Minchin's car does not suit you, a friend of mine, Mr Leslie Hawkins of Cheslyn House, Cheslyn Hay, Staffordshire, has a 4 1/4 L. Bentley for sale, which I know to be in excellent condition, although it has done about 30,000 miles. I believe he would take £1000 for it.

I fear some Station Master has eaten the "Taste", since it has not yet arrived.

Yours sincerely,

P.S. I have noted what you say about pistons and carburetters and we are contacting Devereux.
