Re 20 h.p.Steering Complaints.
----

We attach copy of report from PN. {Mr Northey} in regard to the steering of Mr. Guy Knowles' car. Mr. Knowles has been complaining of this steering ever since he has had the car.

This was one of the two urgent cases we had and you will remember we asked whether you had any of the new worms that we could fit to cure this complaint. You replied that you had none made but that you were making up two quickly.

Meantime By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} pointed out that the cure for this complaint was modified side steering tube, springs and friction discs.

On this particular these now appear to have had the desired effect, so presumably you will not now be making any special steering worms to deal with complaints, as apparently they are not necessary. Perhaps you will please confirm.
