Rushford Hall, Thetford, Norfolk. Nov.11th 1926. Cx {Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} /DHG/DP91126 Dear Sirs, When in France lately, I met a friend with his 20 H.P. Rolls Weyman Saloon, 1926 model, and he kindly allowed both Mrs. Huskor and myself to drive his car. I found the same fault in it, as I did in your demonstration car which I drove in London, viz. the transmission of road shocks through the steering wheel to the drivers arms; over the pot-holes of France, this needs to be experienced to be believed! And as I do a great deal of Continental driving, I go to Cannes or Biarritz every Spring and Autumn, I definitely decided not to buy a Rolls until this defect is remedied and at the Paris Salon I purchased a high grade French 6 cylinder Saloon. I regret not having bought an English car, but as an owner driver I must have light steering free from roadshock vibration. Yours truly, (Sd) Herbert Huskor. | ||
