RY/DG c. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} ------ 646 DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}15/G.22.2.38. WRAITH 111. FRONT SUSPENSION. Please receive herewith the following scheme F.CD.488. The above scheme shews a lever and bump buffer combined, and as an alternative a bump buffer only, in order to use up the 100 sets of lower triangle lever forgings already received and provide simple machining. The front anti-roll bar may not be used for the 1st. 100 cars, so that both schemes should be detailed. For future cars when the front anti-roll bar is fitted it is hoped to get the dies altered or resunk as on F.CD. 458. The top rebound buffer to be used in conjunction with F.CD.488 is shewn on F.CD.450 for the 1st 100 sets. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
