re. Faulty Bendix Starter Motor off 46-G-9.

We have today returned to you complete Starter Motor with Bendix gear taken from the above car. This has been returned to us as faulty and very noisy during engaging.

From an external examination of this job it rather appears that the worm sleeve has seized on the armature spindle.

Will you please arrange for this to be dismantled for examination and inform Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} and myself as soon as this is done, when further instructions can be given.

EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}
