(Exptl. Dept.) Dear Sirs, Thank you for your letter of the 30th inst. contents of which we have duly noted. In regard to the first portion thereof respecting the steel inserts which we returned to you for correction and the 6 Rubber F.86914 and 3 Rubber G.82625, we are taking up very strongly with our despatch department the question of these delays, and are doing everything we can to see that all unnecessary delay is eliminated in future. In the meantime we hope that you have now received the steel inserts for correction. Respecting the fourth paragraph of your letter in regard to sample grades of rubber to F.60398/9, these have now been made up, and are being passed to our Inspection Department for testing. If they prove satisfactory we will see that they are despatched to you as quickly as possible. Referring to the penultimate paragraph of your letter, we have put an order in hand for 6 more rubbers to F.87575, durometer 45-50, and also for two steel inserts F.87576 to be returned to you. | ||
