With reference to the favourable report -
HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/GRY{Shadwell Grylls}2/KT12832 - on the reverse shaft to N. scheme
3492, we should like to know whether any variation of
the travel of the shaft was made to ascertain the
value of the increased overlap of the gears.

If not, would you kindly try the effect of a
travel of .950 instead of 1.100 given on our drawing.
