To DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} Copy to Gde. [Struck through] BW. [Struck through] EPC. [Struck through] ORIGINAL. E1/G29/5/19. 2 RE RADIATOR SHUTTER CONTROL. X.3499 We send you herewith drawing No. Lec.1093 shewing the radiator shutter control between the instrument board on the dash and the radiator. You will note that in applying this mechanism to a car it is necessary to drill three small holes in the main frame of the car, and two small holes with a slot in the dash. The design is intended to be applicable to existing as well as to new chassis. We have now completed all the information required for radiator shutters and controls. Would you kindly proceed to put the necessary work in hand to effect standardisation of same. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
