It has been decided by the Technical Administration that the above chassis is to be called in at the first convenient opportunity for the following modifications:-

(1) Groove main bearings as per latest 4¼-litre.

(2) Block up oil hole in connecting rods.

(3) Fit high pressure scraper rings.

(4) Fit large oil pump.

Will the Test Department test incoming for oil consumption accurately; also outgoing after modifications have been carried out.

Will the Stores please order from W one set of high pressure scraper rings for the above chassis.
