PHANTOM III (AERO CALCULATIONS).

Based on present engine giving
240 BHP at 4000 RPM normally aspirated with
3 ins. Hg. depression.

(a) 6" Hg. Boost - 286 BHP - 126 MEP.
(b) 12"Hg. " - 315 BHP - 140 MEP.

Actual aero specific outputs are :-

Lbs/BHP.

Merlin - 1.74 Wet 1.29 Dry.
Peregrine - 1.62 " 1.22 "
