WRAITH RADIATOR - STEAM VALVE.

Referring to memo Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.2/MH. {M. Huckerby} 14.11.38, we have now been in touch with the manufacturers of steel and phosphor bronze balls and have decided that the best material to use will be Staybrite. Actually whether we use Staybrite or Phosphor bronze, the makers cannot deliver from stock and it will be necessary therefore, to buy 20 gross of these balls - as they will be used on Wraith, B.III, and B.50, however, these will be good stock.

We would also emphasise the necessity of making a good seating in the steam valve body and think a note to this effect should be added to the drawing of the valve body - will RHC. {R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} please take steps to ensure that this finish is obtained.

Will By. {R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} please instruct accordingly.

Rm {William Robotham - Chief Engineer} /Std.
