RE FRAMED INSTRUMENT PATCH.

We note that a patch of framed instruments is on its way to us, and as soon as possible we will send it on to Sales, so as to get their views. We are pressing hard to get the scheme stand-ardised and, if it is found possible, to use it on the Show Cars.

We have mentioned in a previous memo that Mr North is sending you a Watford Clock which he has made at our request for the patch. If this clock is not in the patch which is coming down here, we suggest that it had better be sent down here as soon as possible, when we will arrange to fit it.

We would be glad if By could tell us what dials have been fitted to the patch in question and whether they are the final product:- also whether the cream dial of the Watford clock is from the same source.

It might help us to arrive at a decision as to whether we can press for this patch on the Show Cars if BY could tell us, roughly, how long it would take to make up, say, six sets.
