Ro{C. C. Rose - Export Manager} BY.{R.W. Bailey - Chief Engineer} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to CJ. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7430 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}4/M19.12.25. EAC. 7. FRONT AXLE. X.7420 X.7430 We send herewith N.sch.2109 shewing the forging for the front axle, and also the modification to the steering levers, brake operating gear, shock absorber ball end, etc. It will be seen that there is more room at nearly all the important points. We have looked further in the steering lever, and as a result we wish to make it wider in the centre, and replace the .562 bolts by .625 bolts. This will involve a slight modification to the pivot drawing. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} | ||
