I.M. Waller. Hotel de France, Chateauroux, Indre, France. x500 a Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wym.{G. Harold Whyman - Experimental Manager}5/JH.10.7.36. 22-G-V Exhaust System. We have today despatched to you another exhaust pipe stay for fitment to the above car. This stay has only been drilled at one end so that you can measure the length of stay required and drill the other hole accordingly. The previous stay we sent you was correct to drawing but the position of the bracket welded on to the pipe is somewhat variable and would no doubt account for the stay being too short.
