EAC.10. CYLINDER HEAD. X7050 X7060

We send herewith blueprint of LeC. 2509., shewing the instructions sent to Derby for the cylinder head.

The question of valve sizes will be discussed in a separate memo. but all the valve passages have been kept up to 1.9" bore.

In this layout the valve rockers are all straight and interchangeable - i.e. the push rods being on the same centres as the valves, but not equi-distant on each side of the cylinder centre, owing to the unequal sizes of the valves.

The valve gear is of the 20HP. type, but with an adjustable ball end on the lever. It is a moot point whether one of the adjustments cannot be cancelled.
