X.2894 Extract from GWHL/RP12.4.26. Report on chassis 10-GIII after 2948 miles. Battery ignition. X.5690, X.2894, X.5680. Improved ventilation to distributor, window in head and hole in base EFC4/T15.1.26. Tungsten contact points fitted. The distributor has remained perfectly clean and, all the condenser joints have remained tight. The tungsten point on the finger has developed a small pip in the centre with a corresponding hole in the contact screw. The contacts are clean and good. After cleaning the sparking plugs we obtained good slow running of the car. GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux} | ||
